Consider this – the economic impact of malaria on Africa is staggering. Estimates suggest that this disease costs the continent of Africa  an estimated $12 billion each year in lost productivity and health care costs. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Sleeping under a simple, $10 bed net, is the most cost-effective and efficient way to prevent the spread of malaria.

For the price of a few cups of coffee you and your fellow employees can make a difference in the lives of children and families in Africa.

• Dedicate office parties or barbecues to Spread the Net, and see how much you can raise. Hold Arts & Crafts auctions with a live auctioneer and paintings and handcrafted pieces made by employees as the auctioned items.
• Put up a Spread the Net "Angel Tree" in the reception or lobby during the holidays, with blue lights or decorations added with each donation.
• Build donations into employees' social fund contributions over a period of months, or even donate the coffee money or casual Fridays to Spread the Net.
